Majoring in chemistry and graduated in 1968 from UNC Chapel Hill, Dr Adams obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree. Continuing his education through UNC, he graduated again in 1972 with his medical degree. Completing internships in OB/GYN, radiation oncology, and radiology through UNC Healthcare from 1972 to 1977; Dr Adams has been practicing radiology in eastern NC since 1977 and joined Coastal in 2011.
