Prior to attending medical school, Dr. VanMiddlesworth worked with NOAA (National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration) by contributing to their fishery research. This job required him to board Alaskan fishing vessels departing from Dutch Harbor for 3 months at a time. Dr. VanMiddlesworth did this for 4 years, after which he continued to Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated in 2012. Completing his radiology and interventional radiology residency in Charleston, SC; Dr. VanMiddlesworth joined Coastal Radiology and is a valuable asset to our facility!
